Mind maps
The mind map is built from the keyboard as fast as you can think: Enter adds a topic beside the one you are on, Ctrl+Enter a child, and you type. Or write - or paste - an indented outline in the Outline view beside the map and watch it become one, the two always in step.
Four layouts - both sides, to the right, downwards and radial - placed so that topics never overlap; branches in colour, folding with a count of what is hidden, notes, links and icons, drag a topic onto another to move its branch, find, undo and redo. It opens and saves OPML (which other outliners read), Markdown, JSON and text, and exports PNG and SVG pictures.
A launch plan, map and outline together
A fictional furniture range's launch, with the outline beside the map. Choose a topic and type to rename it, press Enter for a topic beside it and Ctrl+Enter for a child, or edit the outline and watch the map follow.

Radial, from Markdown
A workshop's notes pasted in as Markdown headings and bullets, laid out radially and read only, with the picture ready to drop into the write-up.
